Mr. Ivey is an extremely hard-working professional who is willing to go that extra mile. His creativity and marketing knowledge has presented marketing in a new challenging light. He allows students to feel the real world of marketing... hands-on teaching approach... Jim Ivey is one of the best professors I have ever had. He is a great asset to the Marketing Department. I wish he taught more classes here. He teaches in a way that really makes you learn. I enjoy his teaching methods.... until this semester I have always had a seed of doubt as to why I am in college... this class has taught me that there is a reason to continue... first semester I have fully dived into my major and I feel I am actually getting what I want out of college.

Very interesting and animated - keeps me awake - makes subject matter fun.

Excellent teacher because he is very Business oriented and I think this is what students need the most these days - to see what's happening in the real world.

Good structure to class. Interesting transfer into the relevance of certain aspects of the things we are learning.

Jim is great!! He is very flexible and understands adult life. He holds my attention through humor, is very fast paced, and gets to the point. He's a keeper - I would love to have him again.

Is very practical in relating NSA skills to the work place. Especially when we will have to put technical knowledge into laymen's terms.

When I rate an instructor this high it is because I have learned something from him.
